Planning

What to consider on a commercial project

  • Access and operations

Tell us when the property is busiest, where vehicles and deliveries need to pass and whether any areas must stay open during work.

  • Safety and approvals

Guardrails, structural steel, stairs and automated gates need design coordination, safety review and any applicable approvals for the specific job.

  • Property manager and owner coordination

If a landlord, manager or board approves work, it helps to know who decides on scope and who we coordinate with on site.

  • Durability and finish

High-traffic properties benefit from the right steel thickness, galvanizing or powder coat. We talk through the environment the metal will live in.

Questions

Commercial questions

Commercial questions
Can you work around business hours?

We discuss scheduling during the call. Tell us when the site is busiest and what has to remain accessible, and we will plan the work around it where we can.

Do you handle repair as well as new installation?

Yes. Repair welding, gate and fence repair, hinge and latch work, and restoring damaged sections are common commercial requests alongside new installations.

Can you fabricate custom parts or supports?

Yes. Brackets, frames, bases, supports, platforms and protective pieces can be built to your drawings, a sample or a described need, in steel, aluminum or stainless.

Who should call for a commercial project?

Owners, property managers, facilities staff or contractors can all call. Having the property address, dimensions, photos and a sense of the schedule makes the first conversation more productive.
